On December 9 2025, WoPAI co-sponsored the high-level event “AI for Peace: Amplifying the Voices of Survivors of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (CRSV)”, held at the United Nations in Geneva and now available to watch online.
The event focused on the rising challenges of digital violence and technology-facilitated abuse. The webinar explored how ethical, human-centered AI can support peacebuilding, prevent exploitation, and amplify the stories of survivors whose voices are too often silenced by stigma, fear, or conflict. A central highlight was the launch of “Hearing Their Voices,” an innovative project using generative AI to safely and ethically share testimonies from survivors of CRSV and gender-based violence.
