We stand by our member ENoMW which have had legal threats issued against them when expressing
a critical opinion on the structural nature of the pornography industry and its actors in the context of
public debate on women’s rights, sexual violence, and commercialised sexual exploitation.
A pluralistic democratic society must tolerate expressed criticism as part of public debate, particularly
on contested issues such as pornography. We reject this attempt to intimidate a feminist organisation into silence.
